    Join us for Weekend Walk and Workouts, every Saturday morning at 7:30am in our beautiful Shelby Farms Park located at 500 N Pine Lake Drive Memphis, TN 38134

In the future we will reopen this class to allow folks to join us every weekend (weather permitting) for our Shelby Farms Weekend Walk and Workout!TM If you are looking to meet people, work on fitness goals, and having fun in the process—joint us at Shelby Farms. We are offering a guided walk, workout, and fitness question/ answer seminar to folks looking to make a change in their lifestyle through better fitness practices. Each class/ seminar requires enrollment and the guest fee (nonmembers) for this 1½ hour class is $35. Why join dozens of people in a 'bootcamp' when you can enjoy an intimate small-group setting, the beauty of our park, and work on fitness goals with a certified personal trainer specializing in weight loss?

    We are an organization of fitness professionals dedicated to the proactive movement of lifestyle, wellness, and fitness services designed to help our clients fight preventable diseases, disorders, and illness. We design fitness programs for better living based on eight elements of well-being, including fitness, healthy eating, healthy weight, stress management, relationships & communication, mental health, physical health, and spiritual health. The design of each walk is intended to fit the needs of the average beginning exercise enthusiast. Our effort is to encourage people who have been thinking about their fitness goals to do something about their fitness goals. We want couch potatoes! Each walk and workout will take place at Shelby Farms Park located at 500 N Pine Lake Drive Memphis, TN 38134-7970. We begin each workout with a question/ answer seminar and follow through with a 2.75 mile walk and a workout Q/A session.

    • Please dress for current weather conditions.
    • Each class/seminar is scheduled in advance and requires enrollment.
    • Wear quality, comfortable, walking shoes.
    • Ekho Heart Rate Monitor (Available here or at any Walmart®).
    • Consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.
    • You’ll want to bring a water bottle, change of shoes, and a great attitude!

Walking can be fun and extremely beneficial to most of the population, however, if you have limitations related to bone, joint, connective tissue, or degenerative diseases, and others, your doctor can best describe your limitations.
